154R5. In this chapter, a quadrennial survey means a periodical survey, not being an annual survey nor a survey coinciding as to time with the construction of a vessel, made in accordance with the rules of a classification society or pursuant to the Canada Shipping Act (S.C. 2001, c. 26).
